About the Project
“mPreneur: Youth Mobile Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Future” stimulates capacity-building of young aspiring entrepreneurs and youth CSOs for usage of apps coding and ICT as vital skills for youth employability as well as for strengthening community resilience. Youth will develop sustainable innovative business mobile solutions to the persisting community challenges. Social mobile entrepreneurship is recognized as a special concept uniting the purpose-driven component of the businesses and the mobile technology used. mPreneur does not only stimulates skills sharing among youngsters, but strengthens the quality of youth work by building CSOs capacities for digital learning and usage of ICT for youth empowerment and employability, while gamifying the process through mobile app business competitions. mPreneur follows the major achievements of the first and the second editions of our mYouth CBY project. Exactly this potential to help youth choose their career path in entrepreneurship, while embracing new technologies and being socially aware, and on a different note, to benefit from mobile learning therewith becoming engaged and resilient and ready to embrace change, inspired us to deepen its content and provide solid foundation for sustainability of the project results after the project end.

mPreneur Mobile Apps
Generating impactful social business ideas using mobile technology.
During the mPreneur National Camps in each partner’s country,the best Mobile Apps will be selected with the biggest impact, sustainability and potential. The 16 creators behind the apps will be additionally empowered, trained and upskilled to further develop their solutions firstly in Ohrid, Macedonia. There not only they will be trained, but they will be supported and guided by mentors – university professors and visited by juror, that will select the best 3 applications (out of all 16) and they will invite them in Gratz, Austria for the international gala event. One of the good thing is that all of the applicants will have the pleasure to visit the event in Gratz, so they all will be motivated to move on further.
mPreneur Participants
Young entrepreneurs and mobile apps innovators from Austria, Kenya, N.Macedonia, Uganda, Philippines, Singapore, Tanzania and Romania will participate in the mPreneur project and they all will be gathered firstly in Ohrid, Macedonia and next in Gratz, Austria. they are not only innovators, but they are creative, supportive with an eye for a change, local change and global as well. We need more this type of young people.
Social mPreneur School
Social mPreneur School: International Camp – mLearning, Techpreneurship, Sustainable Impact making for aspiring entrepreneurs from Africa, Asia and Europe. Part of the SME curriculum, advanced program to support development of sustainable social business solutions using mobile technology, boosted skills of youth workers and CSOs to embrace social business modelling and develop mobile apps for impact and revenue. Usage of big data, deep learning, AI, VR for impact-making, coding for all. Some sessions will be joint, some will be parallel. Youth entrepreneurs will go through advancement of their mobile apps, while youth workers will deepen their strategic approach towards SME, integrating it in the strategic organizational plans and working on the mPreneur Sustainability Toolkit. They will meet at the business modelling sessions, but also at the mentoring marketplace, where youth workers will act as support and mentors for the young m-preneurs. Non-formal educational methods, team work, team building, role plays and simulations.
The Gala Event
mPreneur Gala event will be organized in Graz Austria. WSA contest to motivate young people, social entrepreneurs, and start-ups to produce digital projects having an impact on society. Showcase of mPreneur project in front of international audience, networking workshops, flames of inspiration, experts feedback and pitching as part of the programme. Selection of overall mPreneur winner.
